What Do I Need To Do Before Having A Hot Tub Installed?
To install your hot tub, you only need to worry about three things: a solid, level base to stand it on, a power outlet to provide the juice, and a hose pipe to fill it up with – it really is that simple. If you plan to sink the spa, there will be the added consideration of access to the component door for servicing, so do bear that in mind when planning and preparing your base.
How Long Does Delivery Take?
Usually between 1 -2 weeks! We are able to keep your spa in stock however until you are ready! So don’t let that time frame put you off! A simple deposit is all it takes to reserve your chosen Hot Tub!
What Happens During My Delivery?

We can also walk you through your chemicals and control panel to ensure you understand how to use your spa fully.
How Long Does It Take For The Hot Tub To Heat Up?
You should expect this to be hot in about 20 hours. Bigger spas, different heaters and winter mains water will all have longer or shorter heating times. A final point – hot tubs are designed to be hot 24/7. Once a hot tub is hot you are only ever topping up lost heat. A 1.5KW heater will put about 3 degrees of heat into a spa per hour, so a typical 1/2 hour use will drop the spa temperature about 1 degree, meaning it will take about 20 minutes to recover.
How Often Do I Need To Drain The Water In The Hot Tub?
Many hot tubs have bottom drains which you connect to a hose pipe and run to a drain. However if you have not got a bottom drain then this is not a big problem as you can purchase a submersible pump and roll flat hose and can drain the spa that way just as easily – on average depending on usage this needs to be done every 3-4 months.
Chlorine Or Bromine... What Should I Use?
This is one of the biggest questions that we get asked by our customers. Chlorine actually oxidizes any contaminants in the water which are then collected by your filter and even burned away when you shock your Hot Tub. Bromine, on the other hand, ionizes any contaminants that are then removed in much the same way.
Both chlorine and bromine are very good at what they do. Both will sanitize your spa and keep your water clean. However, every hot tub owner is different and you may have your own personal preferences.
If you forget to regularly add sanitizer to your hot tub or if you want to try and save a little money on maintenance, chlorine may be the way to go. However, if you have sensitive skin, bromine is definitely the better choice, even if it is a little more expensive.
